The 2026 Conference and Convention of the American Council of the Blind (ACB) will be July 24 - July 31, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Approximately 1,000 people from across the United States and from many foreign countries are expected to attend this conference and people from around the world will listen to live broadcasts from the conference on ACB Media or via telephone. Countless others will read the conference program and conference newspaper on the ACB's Convention website and on ACB email lists. Key elements of the convention will also be made virtually accessible for remote attendees through video conferencing and be available after the event through ACB's YouTube channel and multiple podcast feeds on ACB Media.
Who is attending ACB's conference and convention? Blind and visually impaired entrepreneurs, students, teachers, rehabilitation professionals, attorneys, musicians, parents, and guide dog users. These individuals are looking for work, want to learn about adaptive technology, are just learning to live with vision loss, attending college or just starting new careers. They are spouses, family members, friends, and professionals who work in the field of vision loss.
They come to learn about the latest in technology, to attend seminars to enhance their lives, with the latest information on accessible medical equipment, transportation issues, audio description, and they come to network with other people who are blind and visually impaired.

- Official Conference and Convention Program - Subsidize the cost of braille, large print and electronic formats, sponsor recognition throughout the conference and convention. To receive recognition in the print program this option will need to be confirmed by May 21, 2026;
- Conference Exhibit Hall and Exhibit Hall Guide - Sponsor announcement recognition in the exhibit hall and your name will be on the front page of the exhibit hall guides in braille, large print and electronic formats; this guide will be distributed to all convention attendees who visit the exhibit hall;
- Virtual Conference and Convention Sessions - Special acknowledgments will be included in over three days of Zoom-only virtual sessions preceding the in-person Convention. They will be streamed on ACB Media and accessible to attendees via Zoom. These sessions will be archived as part of the ACB Media Network Podcasts, ensuring ongoing access and recognition.
- Voting - Underwrite costs connected with providing all members the opportunity to vote for resolutions; board and officer positions and constitution and bylaw amendments during ACB business meetings. Your name will be on information that is emailed to eligible voters.

- ACB Activities - Provides special recognition events to honor outstanding attendees and provides a valuable opportunity for attendees to meet and connect with these individuals in a more personal setting;
- ACB Auction - Your name will be announced throughout the auction, on the auction webpage, and on all auction email announcements (Must confirm by May 1, 2026);
- Accessibility and Language Support - Your sponsorship will defray costs for communication access real time translation, assisted listening devices, American sign language, and Spanish translation services;
- Audio described tour channel - A compilation of audio described tours from the national parks service are played for four weeks on ACB Media's tour channel in conjunction with the convention. These tours allow individuals to learn about many famous sites from the comfort of their home. This tour loop is also made available as a Podcast; your company name would be announced prior to each tour;
- Conference and Convention Registration - Subsidize costs associated with registration management. Your company name or logo will be printed on the tote bags handed out at registration to all in-person attendees;
- Convention Exhibit Hall Channel - All ACB exhibitors are provided with the opportunity of recording information regarding their exhibit hall booth. These recordings are put together in a six-hour loop played for three weeks on ACB Media's exhibit hall channel in conjunction with the convention. They are also made available as podcasts. Your company name will be announced throughout the exhibit hall loop;
- Guide Dog Relief area - set up and maintenance of guide dog relief areas for the approximately 200 guide dogs at the convention. Our guide dog relief area expert will also handle any doggie accidents in the hotel;
- Information Help Desk - Provides virtual and in person attendees with information on how to access virtual and in person scheduled sessions, room locations, and event details, helping to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone who needs assistance or additional conference and convention information; the information desk telephone will be answered with your company name.

- ACB Life Member breakfast - Your company name will appear on the invitation to in person life members who are recognized for their dedication to ACB;
- ACB Marketplace - This space offers affiliates and small business entrepreneurs an affordable opportunity to showcase and sell their merchandise or services directly outside the general session area and enhances visibility to event attendees. (Sponsor recognition throughout the conference and convention);
- ACB Youth Track - Funding to help with transportation, accommodation, and registration expenses for blind and visually impaired high school students and their guardians. This will help them to attend many information sessions enabling them to connect with peers, gain vital life skills, and foster independence;
- Airport Assistance - Provide funding for a team to help attendees as they arrive and depart from the airport by meeting them at the gate, assist with baggage pickup and ground transportation or shuttle service, to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for attendees;
- Conference Participation and Development Training for Future Leaders and Young Professionals - Your sponsorship will defray registration costs and enable attendees to attend many informative sessions during conference and convention week. Participants will have a leader ribbon on their name tag; special thanks at all related events;
- Continuing Education Credits (CEC) - Continuing education (CE) is essential for certified professionals to maintain and enhance their expertise. By engaging in CE sessions, it helps individuals meet certification renewal requirements and helps them to better serve their clients. Your company name will be on the convention site CEC webpages;
- Event Coordination - Provide support to help offset the costs associated with event coordinators' travel and hotel accommodations. These coordinators are volunteers who coordinate off-site activities, manage the exhibit hall, coordinate volunteers, oversee the convention information desk and handle the overall convention coordination logistics.
- Get Up and Get Moving - Activities exploring sports and healthy leisure options for all ages;
- Guide Dog Play area - this is a great place for dogs to relieve stress, receive treats and have some fun. Help approximately 200 guide dogs;
- Kids Explorers Club - Supports the adult facilitators of the kids club including providing supplies, transportation and nourishment for youth ages 6 to 12;
- Kids Explorers Club Activities - Helps reduce the cost of educational field trips, movies, and games for children ages 6 to 12; This allows parents to participate in the convention while their children enjoy engaging activities in a safe and fun environment. Your name/log will be printed on tour tickets if confirmed prior to printing;
- Reception for outstanding blind students - Throughout the convention special acknowledgement activities are held for our scholarship recipients. Your sponsorship provides for a luncheon where the scholarship recipients can meet and mingle in person, and also for a reception where scholarship recipients will be recognized and meet other convention attendees;
- Scholarship recipients travel - Your sponsorship will help defray costs for our blind and visually impaired post-secondary students to attend the convention. Your sponsorship will assist with their travel and lodging costs.
